FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN

The FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN will take place on Sunday, 19 May 2019. This year being the Cape Town 12 ONERUN’s 5th anniversary.
Milnerton’s Woodbridge Island hosts the start of this fast, flat 12km fun event. It brings together runners from all walks of life to experience a run built for fun. The route follows the coastline past key landmarks, finishing at the FNB Portside building in Bree Street, in the heart of Cape Town.
All taking part are invited to sprint, run, walk, power walk, … and to do it in style… Cape Town style. Be it in suits, shorts, stilettos or velies… in a team or on your own. Just ‘run’ the event your way!
The FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN is the first of three events that make up the FNB ‘Run Your City Series’. Joburg hosts the 4th annual FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN on Tuesday, 24 September 2019 while Durban gets to close off the series with the 3rd annual FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN on Sunday, 13 October 2019.
Accepted as South Africa’s most loved 12km road race, the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN has been awarded Bronze Label status by the IAAF… International Association of Athletics Federation.

23-year-old Morris Gachaga of Kenya, who won the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN in 2017, set the fastest time ever recorded over the 12km distance in a time of 33:27.
