Woodbridge Island’s Beach
Posted in Woodbridge Island News
Woodbridge Island’s Beach, Milnerton Beach, borders the ocean side of Woodbridge Island. Offering postcard perfect views of Table Mountain for the ocean view homes. The water of Table Bay is from the Benguela current, so is generally cold.
Well known for it’s lighthouse, Milnerton’s beach is well known as a popular recreational area, especially over weekends and public holidays. Popular for its view of Table Mountain and as a popular surfing spot. The beach is also managed by Milnerton Surf Lifesaving Club, who help to prevent drownings on the beach and surrounding area.
The beach is popular for surfers, dog walkers, and sunbathers. The beach is best visited on calm days and is a safe swimming beach, with lifeguards on duty during the peak season.
